Returns & Refunds Policy

Elevari Studios

Elevari Studios designs intentional, modular products to help you build a system that works for you. We want you to feel confident in your purchase while ensuring fairness and compliance with South African consumer law.

This policy is written in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 (CPA).


1. Online Purchases & Cooling-Off Period (CPA)

If you purchased a product online, you have the right to return it within 7 (seven) days of delivery, without providing a reason, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in its original condition

  • The item is returned in original packaging

In this instance:

  • Return shipping costs are for the customer’s account

  • Any original shipping fees are non-refundable

This right exists in terms of Section 44 of the CPA.


2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Defective

  • Damaged during delivery

  • Incorrect (not what you ordered)

Please notify us within 7 (seven) days of delivery by emailing:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Clear photographs (where applicable)

Where the CPA applies, you may choose between:

  • A repair

  • A replacement

  • A refund

In these cases, return shipping costs will be covered by Elevari Studios.


3. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless they are defective:

  • Products that show signs of use, wear, or handling

  • Products that have been customised, personalised, or assembled specifically for you

  • Modular components selected as part of a build-your-own system, where the product itself is not defective

  • Digital products or downloadable content (if applicable)

These exclusions are permitted under the CPA.


4. Modular & Build-Your-Own Products

Elevari Studios offers modular systems that allow you to select only what you need.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

  • Each component is chosen intentionally by you

  • Compatibility, layout preference, and structure are personal choices

  • Returns based on preference or change of mind must still meet the conditions in Section 1

We encourage you to review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.


5. Refund Processing

Once a return is approved and received:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.


6. International Orders

For international orders:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect

We recommend contacting us before returning any international order.
